Workshop description
Carborundum Workshop: an intuitive and experimental printing technique where you work with a mixture of glue and fine abrasive powder. This allows you to build relief on your plate, resulting in deep, velvety black tones and rich textures during printing. Carborundum is ideal for anyone who enjoys freehand work, playing with surfaces, and discovering new graphic possibilities. During the workshop: - you will learn how to build a carborundum plate - you will experiment with materials, layers, and contrast - you will print your own unique print(s) on professional presses - the workshop is suitable for both beginners and people with experience in printmaking. 2 to 2.5 hours (including materials and coffee and tea)
